I like the style a lot, especially for how you rendered the wings. Very cool!
I think the composition could use some work though...it's a little awkward seeing the phoenix *just* off-center, but I don't think centering it more would be the best way to go. Anyway, cool style...love to see more.

The fact that this was a watercolor painting is good enough for me. That stuff can be hard to work with sometimes. Nicely done.

Phoenix! *love* The colors and composition are great, I love the flowing feeling. The physical parts of the body don't seem to be affected by all the light the wings and tail are producing. It's not a major issue though, I have to say, I really love this piece.
